Request Access Update

Available: Thursday, December 17, 2020

In an effort to modernize as well as gather more information on the user access request, we have changed both look and feel as well as the workflow for the Access Request Workflow.

Please see the video here for an overview.

  1.  Requesting Access- New Customers Signing Up
    1. Email Verification has been added to ensure the email is proper.  The last thing you want to happen is for a buyer to request access with an email that is incorrect so they never get your approval!
    2. Requiring new users requesting access to enter a customer code will now be optional.   This will allow a more streamlined process for those that want to remove any barrier to requesting access but still require this code for brands that want this extra level of security for account request.  (The default is now set to optional.  Please reach out to support if you would like this field to be required.). Either way, this customer code will be included in the access request email delivered to your set up team.
    3. Customers requesting access are required to fill in additional information such as work phone, work address, store name, categories of products sold, and other brands sold.  This will all give your admin more information about who is requesting access.
    4. All data gathered will be sent on the request access email as well as will be available for review on the user (coming soon!)
    5. There is no longer a security question.
    6. All emails back and forth have been updated.

  2. Forgot Password Workflow
    1. If a password is forgotten a password link is available on the sign-up page.  This will now send an email with a link to reset the password directly.  The user will no longer need their security question or to rest their password in their profiles section after login.

  3. New Messaging for Multi-Brand User Requests
    1. If a customer requests access and is already using RepSpark with another brand, the workflow and messaging have been streamlined and are more informative.
